Pina Basone, also known as Pina Bird, grew up in Connecticut, where her imagination for creating stories all began. Pina has reinvented herself throughout her life and career, always telling her children, “Dreams do come true if you work hard and believe in yourself.” Pina’s inspiration comes from many of her life experiences and childhood memories. This is Pina’s third children’s book. Her first two are Fred the Super Friend and Fred the Super Saves the Mangroves. She hopes that you enjoy the warm message each book carries.
